2015 marked the Year of Food and Drink in Scotland

with everyone CELEBRATING the fine Scottish fayre available throughout our great nation.

Scotland is renowned for providing some of the best quality food and drink products. It goes without saying but the range of whiskies available is unmatched, whilst the likes of Scottish beef and Scottish salmon are widely reputed as some of the best in the world. Therefore, it’ll come as no surprise that the food and drink exports are quoted as being worth a staggering £5.1bn!

Keen to celebrate such a huge occasion our partners Bidvest Foodservice worked closely with their sister company Forteith Foodservice in Oban, as well as customers, suppliers, industry bodies and even the Scottish Government to bring together a publication showcasing some of the finest Scottish food and drinks from all manner of categories.

The result was fantastic and one which not only won Forteith ‘The Best Marketing Initiative’ award at the 2015 Wholesale Awards, but also brought to the forefront an array of delicious Scottish fayre, made with the finest Scottish ingredients.

With over 40 years in the industry supplying the foodservice market with a range of specially crafted desserts Aulds Delicious Desserts were delighted to be a part of the project, designing a bespoke range of Scottish themed treats for the occasion…
